Unfortunately we are in a legal matter with Camping World in Georgetown KY where they claimed to have had warranty work approved and needed to hold our 24 Palomino Puma while seeking a third party to perform the work. After six months of no activity, getting the run around and multiple versions, we verified with the manufacturer that no claim was ever submitted to inspect the twist in the frame/floor concern that led to nails popping. Once discovered they tried to spin and deflect and then claimed the other items were suddenly complete while unable to produce service records and refusing to provide any adequate photos or videos of work. After being discouraged from recovery for six months, due to military service, I was then unable to recover and this had set off a domino effect of delays in a historic farm restoration project in which the trailer was to be used. CW claimed they would deliver and compensate for financial losses but kept dragging and changing their story and constantly went back on their word. This led to a legal complaint filed under the Kentucky Consumer Protection Act. Ultimately from a complete lack of integrity and my property rotting on the lot for ten months before we recovered it, we needed a third party inspection to determine the actual status of the trailer, but also document for legal purposes. We reached out to several inspectors but all claimed they weren’t comfortable enough in their trade to perform a thorough inspection or create reports requiring the depth we needed, except Bobby with Double Diamond, and he drove several hours and stayed overnight to ensure proper set up for the inspection was in place. As expected, CW delayed, created obstacles and limited some access as seals were now a concern from preventing owner maintenance while neglecting it in their care, part of the items listed in their own inspection. Bobby was informative, professional and provided everything we needed that he could, to document the reality of the situation which was neglect, and some other items needing repair while in their care. He remained extremely impartial afterwards continued to be available to answer further questions. Although a bulk of this review is why he was needed, the key point is that when he was, he showed up and delivered, and being a Veteran owned company was a big reason we started with him in our search as integrity usually accompanies. Smooth transaction. Highly recommend for pre purchase inspections and should you unfortunately ignore the national RV market like I did as a first time buyer and trust CW to perform honorably, and find yourself in a similar situation, then I also recommend for that as well.

On contact they explained in detail what they would do in an inspection and gave me time to ask any questions. Inspection was done in timely manner and report was detailed. I recently brought Bobby and Jessica to conduct a pre-purchase inspection for a used ATC RV, and I was extremely impressed with the entire experience. Due to dealership employee error, our fifth wheel was not accessible at the appointed inspection time. Bobby remained professional and was agreeable to rescheduling the inspection. Double Diamond RV Inspection is an incredibly professional team that provides a service I can trust. We sought a pre purchase inspect through Double Diamond. The only areas I would have criticism have to do with areas that Double Diamond could not inspect due to dealership limitations. So be sure to ask your dealership to have a battery connected, electical hookups, and water hookups available. You want to be able to check both on grid and off grid features of your RV. Overall I was very satisfied with the service provided by Double Diamond. If I were purchasing another RV today, Double Diamond would be my first call. We reached out to Double Diamond for a pre-purchase inspection for a new RV purchase. We have never owned an RV before or had much experience with them. You don't know what you don't know- and we didn't know what we should be looking for. Bobby was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge with us. He coordinated the inspection time with the RV dealership independently and spent the better part of a full day doing a very thorough inspection. He went over his findings with us in detail and explained the items that needed to be addressed, as well as being very honest with his opinion and experience on whether any of these things were out-of-the-ordinary, or should be a deal breaker, and what we should expect from the dealership.
