This information is not meant to be an exhaustive list, but the goal is to offer an idea of what our customers can expect.

Many items are not only tested visually, but also with various professional-grade meters/gauges, etc, to verify the operating condition and function.

Don't forget, fluid analysis is available for Generators (On-board / External), Tow vehicles, and Motorized RVs!

A full inspection will typically include 85 - 100 photos, along with video of moving components.

No, it is not necessary for you to be present for the inspection.

You are welcome to be there - we love to meet our customers! All that we ask is to try to keep distractions to a minimum.

We want to focus our attention on the task at hand:

  • Providing a thorough and quality inspection for our customers!

At the end of the inspection, we will be happy to answer any additional questions or address any concerns.

The RV will need to be set up  so that the interior and exterior can be fully evaluated (Slideout(s) able to be fully extended, Awning(s) able to be fully deployed, etc. Proper utilities will also need to be available (Power/Water/Sewer).

For a complete list of the Inspection Requirements, please contact us.

Several factors can affect the scheduling of the inspection.

Some examples include:

  • Inspector availability
  • Seller availability
  • Inclement weather
  • Travel

Many times an inspection can be scheduled within 24 – 48 hours, or as long as several weeks out, depending on the clients needs.

Please contact us to discuss your scheduling needs.

Invoicing will accompany the Appointment being scheduled.

All payments are securely processed through our 3rd Party Payment Processor.

Document communication will be by email with links, and you can use your credit card to make the payment.

The total time / length of the inspection will depend on several factors:

  • Level of inspection selected
  • Type of unit being inspected
  • Quantity /Type(s) of issues found

A Safety Level inspection can take only 2-3 hours, while a full pre-purchase inspection, (with fluid samples) on a loaded Class A diesel motor home or Toy Hauler, can take 8-10 hours.

We don’t rush our inspections. Our goal is to provide our customer with a quality report, and as thorough of condition information as possible.

Time is not our goal, Your complete satisfaction is!

Our goal is to deliver your official report within 24 hours of the completion of the inspection, but most are typically available that same business day.

A verbal overview of the inspection findings can be given in person (if you are present for the inspection) or via a phone call afterwards.

No.

We offer pre-purchase inspections on New and Used RV(s), even Horse Haulers.

It is unfortunate, but issues have been found on new RVs (sometimes serious Life Safety items). It is even possible to identify these after a dealer has performed their own Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI).

We also offer repair verification inspections. Not only can we inspect your current RV for issues, we have the ability to perform fluid analysis on your Generator or Tow vehicle.

Yes!

Please ask the dealer what their specific policy may be regarding accommodating 3rd Party inspections.

Proof of current General Liability Insurance can be provided upon request.

The inspection report, to include any issues discovered, are not disclosed to anyone unless your written consent has been given to do so.

As the buyer of the inspection, you are free to share the report information with anyone you like. Our strict Code of Ethics does not allow us to share any information without the customer's consent.

The only exception would be disclosure of "Life Safety" issues.

We will travel just about anywhere!

Our quoted inspection rate includes up to 90 miles of travel.

Any travel beyond the stated area may require additional travel, and mileage fees.

Please contact us so we can discuss your specific needs and requirements.

Absolutely!

A key point of our business is providing a solution for interested buyers in your situation, and we do it often. Nearly 90% of our customers have hired us because they are in the same situation.

Please contact us so we can discuss your specific needs and requirements.

We believe that any honest / reputable seller (Private Party or Dealer), should have no problem with fully accommodating a pre-purchase inspection. We completely understand the potential for concerns regarding discovered issues that could affect the sale or selling price, however.... We also firmly believe you should have a fair opportunity, as well as a reasonable time-frame, to know exactly what you may be spending YOUR money on!

You can decide to take a chance and purchase without a proper 3rd Party inspection, or seek out another RV, where the seller is more accommodating.

When putting a "hold deposit" on the RV, ALWAYS ensure that your deposit is 100% refundable (in writing), in the event you choose not to buy.

With a dealer, common practice is to put a deposit on the RV you are interested in. In the Private Party market, the situation can be a lot more fluid.

We would encourage any of our customers to pursue a Purchase Agreement document (signed by both you, and the seller), especially for Private Party sales.

We would be happy to provide an example free of charge for you to use.
